February 2002 - 2007 Godhra and Media!

Today morning switched on the TV and all the news channels showing the hidden operation of interview/view/truth/lies of biggest brain washers of our country, proudly explaining about how they killed and burned people belonging so called minority in India.
I thought 'This is what is expected of our politicians' for whom a baby born in there religion/caste/sub-caste is seen as another voter rather then a future for India.
Let’s forget about them for the time, any how I will be writing another post on our so called Leaders (this is when I feel like saying 'Who's Father What Goes!!!').
The sad/disappointing thing was not that our politicians are looser's and greedy about vote bank and are the root cause of all the riots we had, which is a very well known fact.
But, why is our media also becoming greedy about PTR and do things for PTR and not really giving the right, fair and TIMELY information.
No one is ready to believe if any one said that this particular hidden camera Interview/View/Truth/Lies was done last week and as soon as it was done it is being telecasted and how much truth is there in those interviews.
I believe the Channel had these tapes from long time and with less then 2 months for the elections in Gujarat, this was a very TIMELY release of the Interviews/View's/Truth/Lies.
Has the particular channel joined hands with a political party and attempting to turn the results of the election?
(We have examples of that in south - Sun Network, Jaya TV and in US - CNN)
Did the particular channel use this to Blackmail a particular politician? Is a Channel trying to settle personal wars?
(The above 2 view's are the result of : Couple of weeks back Present CM of Gujarat, Narendra Modi had an interview with one of the channels and did not like the question(on Godhra incident) asked by the host. Modi stopped the interview midway and walked out of the room).
Don’t we as citizens of India have the right to information and this(Hidden camera operation) should have been telecasted when the Interview/View/Truth/Lies came out and also the complete tape, not only the parts which the channel wants us to see?
Also, what about those Kashmiri Pandit's who lost their family, life, house, work and land. Why don’t the media do anything about those families? I have seen it with my own eyes how these Pandit’s are living in Jammu, living in REFUGEE CAMP'S. Wait a second, REFUGEE CAMP’S!!!! I was Told Kashmir was a part of India, can any one be a Refugee in their own country?
When the Godhra incident happened there were nearly 60 Hindus who were burnt alive, of which majority were women and children.
News channels!!! Why don’t you go and have a sting operation on the people who burnt the Train? or you think since Hindus are majority in this country the death of 60 People( hoo sorry did I type People it should be Hindus) is not a major loss to the country?
"it is saddening and strange that when such acts are perpetrated against the minorities all political leaders and Media rush to condemn. But when the majority is attacked, not a single political leader condemns it"

Now, you can just sit thinking 'Who's Father What Goes!!!' or give a minute before we believe every thing that’s shown in Media.

i think we should always have a free press. it is good that this thing came out. and I don't see Hindus as being penalized. Mass murdering a whole community and getting away is the worst thing in a democracy like ours.

Whatever the reason was for this sting.the fact that it got the truth out in open can only do overall justice which is soo badly needed.

Excellent work!!! You are absolutely right my friend. At times I feel so helpless, whom to trust, where to go. They all seem fake.

The article is very one sided, favoring the majority community. Remember, irrespective of religion, a person undergoes the same pain and suffering when he dies. So, instead of taking sides,we should look at this issue from a humanitarian perspective. If true justice were delivered, the chief minister should be behind bars for inaction during the riots...he does not deserve a second term.

The media is biased at times, but thankfully not in the Gujrat riots.
The writer should have researched more, read books on the topic and known facts before writing this article. Perhaps it is never late, he can still do that as this issue will come up in the future prompting him to write such one sided, biased and uninformed articles.
